Introduced in 1984, and reviving the Carrera name for the first time since 1977, the Carrera 3.2 marked the definitive evolution of the original 911 before being replaced by the more complicated 964

The all-alloy flat-six engine, which had been fuel injected since 1971, received a final stretch to 3,164cc, giving a torque-rich 231bhp, fed through the 915 five-speed gearbox - enough to propel the lithe and slippery coupé to over 150mph, with 60mph arriving in 5.6 seconds

This C00 (home-market) example was first registered in Germany in March 1986 and is finished in Prussian Blue Metallic with Fuchs style alloy wheels over a classic eighties 911 cabin trimmed in blue pinstripe cloth and dark blue leather

Options from new include central locking, rear wiper, spoilers, cloth door panels, passenger-side mirror and an alarm

It was imported to the UK just before the start of the new millennium and has remained in the current owners care since 2000

In 2021, the decision was taken to treat the 911 to an extensive restoration, which included a full engine rebuild (machined crankcases, new barrels and heads) as well as a comprehensive running gear rebuild with Bilstein dampers, uprated suspension bushes, a gearbox rebuild, clutch replacement, retrimmed steering wheel and refurbished wheels

The bodywork has also benefited from a full professional respray in its original colour, however, we understand that the interior is largely original

The car is supplied with a substantial history file including dated invoices from Warren Heath Engineering and Majestic Motors documenting the restoration carried out between 2021 and 2026 and further invoices for routine maintenance
