- Beautiful Porsche 912 SWB from 1967, newly delivered in California . Beautiful rust-free body , completely repainted and rebuilt by us . Equipped with beautiful Fuchs rims, sports seats and tinted glass. The Porsche 912, with a four-cylinder boxer engine, entered the European market in April 1965. The specifications had not been approved for the United States and Britain at that time. The 912 in the export version was presented later in 1965 (model year 1966). This model was to be a great success. The 912 coupe was built at coachbuilder Karmann and at Porsche. This was two years after the production start of the 911. In terms of looks, this car is indistinguishable from its bigger brother the Porsche 911. Because the purchase price of the 912 was also lower than that of the 911, Porsche offered the many loyal fans of the Porsche 356 the option of still driving a Porsche. Production of the 912 ceased in 1969, but a 912E was still released in the year 1976.Accessories

De specificaties waren toen nog niet goedgekeurd voor de Verenigde staten en Groot-Brittannië. De 912 in de export uitvoering werd later in 1965 gepresenteerd (modeljaar 1966). Dit model zou een groot succes worden. De 912 coupe werd bij carrosseriebouwer Karmann en bij Porsche gebouwd. Dit was twee jaar na de productiestart van de 911. Qua uiterlijk is deze auto niet te onderscheiden van zijn grotere broer de Porsche 911. Doordat de aanschafprijs van de 912 ook lager was dan van de 911, bood Porsche de vele trouwe fans van de Porsche 356 de mogelijkheid toch een Porsche te blijven rijden.
