Porsche 911 996 Carrera Coupé – 1998 – Manual – Reconditioned Engine – Sunroof Parliament

The car is equipped with the 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine was reconditioned by Auto Resto, a renowned Porsche 996 specialist. This included the application of improved cooling according to the Auto Resto upgrade, improved cylinder liners, AOS, and an improved IMS.

The gear shift mechanism was also addressed. The original mechanism is largely made of plastic, which can cause shifting to feel less direct over time. In this car, the mechanism has been replaced with a metal version, including new cables. As a result, the car shifts much tighter and more directly.

The car is equipped with an aluminium gear lever; the original lever is also present. Additionally, a Momo sports steering wheel is currently fitted, along with the original Porsche steering wheel.

Furthermore, this 996 is equipped with parts from the Turbo version, including the suspension, seats, and full leather interior. The car also features an electric sunroof and a stainless steel exhaust.

The car has been maintained by Auto Resto and recently underwent a service. Additionally, new radiators have been fitted, along with a reconditioned starter motor, a virtually new battery, braided brake lines, and new tires all around. The MOT (APK) is present.
